Transport Adaptors allow clients to communicate with the FIXServer over non-FIX transports. They are defined in the 'Transport Layer' section of the 'FIXEdge.properties' file. Transport Adaptors are usually libraries with .dll (Windows) or .so (Linux) extensions which FIXEdge loads at runtime.
