How to install/add a license

Note

Since FIXEye 4.0.2 (and FIXEye Agent 2.0.0.28) only FIXEye Agent requires a license.

Adding a license file in Windows

If the path to a license file was not specified during the installation of FIXEye Agent, it can be added to a root folder of FIXEye Agent at any time.

The following messages caused by license errors may appear in fixeye-agent.log file:

3	[ERROR] 20180713-06:15:47.497 [19628] [FIXEyeAgent] - License is expired, agent will be stopped! Please call +44 20 369-58-166 or contact us at sales@btobits.com for further assistance.	License is expired
4	[ERROR] 20180713-06:39:21.434 [15776] [FIXEyeAgent] - License is issued for different platform 'Linux' - agent will be stopped! Please call +44 20 369-58-166 or contact us at sales@btobits.com for further assistance.	Wrong platform
